My client needed to re think her space. She had many interests, which caused her to be in perpetual unorganized clutter. The chaos filled her days with frustration; a new project would begin with items being mixed up, lost and/or even disappearing.
Each week she would promise she would get a hold of the disorganized clutter but then life would show up and the week would be done. When you can’t seem to get a hold of your clutter it’s a good time to call in additional support and that’s exactly what she did. She called me.
Together we were able to discuss
1. Purpose of space
2. Organizational needs
3. PDR approach
The space required her to separate her business from each hobby. One desk was organized and devoted to her business. The desk was cleared and the top became a clean slate for her sewing, jewelry, and designing hobbies. I organized all her back stock in the cabinet. She can freely switch out from hobby to hobby or even pop onto her desk to take care of business.
Creating separate spaces allowed her to work with specific purpose, making it easier to work and putting stuff away was a piece of cake.
