A Simple Yet Organized Office

My client hadn’t touched her “life papers” in years. Each time she would begin to organize her office and life she would abruptly stop from becoming discouraged.
Often times we just can’t answer simple questions: Where do I start? What do I keep? As my client began the process of answering the simple yet tough questions, I not only had to go through and create space for her paper work, but to create space for her “present” life. I enabled her to come up with a vision of her office that was realistic to motivate her and inspire her to become more balanced and organized.

We began from ground zero; I created systems in her office that provided more resources and more tools for effective organization. This room in particular is unique because nothing was purchased; each item was accumulated from somewhere else in the home. The color choice of the room fills the environment with warm, caramel, and soft inspiration to fuel her work and well as her soul. Each picture is devoted and vital to her new life that works together in creating categories that enforces the importance of a well-balanced and organized life.

A modern Tuscan look also welcomes her children to have a place for peace and understanding. The desk is positioned next to a message board that I placed for her to see her children’s comments and notes from throughout the day. By allowing me to create a room specific to her needs she now can enjoy comfort and peace of mind, knowing there is a place for everything and everyone.

I initially asked my client what her office should look like and she replied “An ideal office would be organized, inspirational and have a Tuscany feel.”

Mission accomplished!

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
