Is your life bursting at the seams, like mine does sometimes? I find that the best thing to do is assess my priorities. I re examine my to do list and I check those items. I take steps that help alleviate my stress levels.
My questions to myself:
Are my tasks something I really need to complete now?
Do I have a lot of “C” priorities?
Are my to do’s something that only I myself can do?
My first step is to eliminate the “C’s” on my to do list. If it is a “C” trust me it’s not urgent and it CAN wait.
Just doing that whew! I feel a burst of energy!
My second step is to acknowledge I NEED SPACE. I find out what’s stressing me out and I do something about it. I take a walk, garden; organize a pantry (just kidding)sometimes when I completely escape, I go to the movies.
I take action, I prioritize that I need space and when I do my stress dissolves. When I intentionally create space in my life I have more clarity, more energy and my well being is balanced.
