Notes to Grow By: POTPOM Note Pad

With the advent of my Peace Planner, I also wanted to create something that was useful and affordable to go along with the Planner. This is when the Piece of Time Peace of Mind Note Pad popped into my mind. Although something like a note pad can seem simple, you will not believe how having access to a clean sheet of paper to write on can fuel many inspirations, ideas, and great projects. There are so many times when ideas for blog posts… gatherings… and helping my clients have trailed into my mind and I know I need to write them down or else I will forget.

Every time I pull my POTPOM note pad out and read what I have jotted down, no matter how messy, these ideas come back and I can put into action my inspirations and to-dos. The note pad can also be used for your every day shopping lists and even a paragraph or two of being grateful for the things that exist in your life.

The POTPOM Note Pad is just a little token of usefulness when thrown into your purse, bag, or even put on your desk.

You can purchase the POTPOM Note Pads here.

Plan and Pave Your Way to Peace

There are 2 things that help me achieve balance being inspired and  realistically planning my life.

Feeling inspired allows me to be motivated and being motivated pulls me in the direction of being productive and when I feel productive I feel capable of handling most things that arrive in my life.

I focus on the smaller steps and pay less attention to the big steps. Like I always say… Inch by Inch is a Cinch!

What I have learned is achieving your goals through smart planning and patience is the way to go.

Steal a peek into Tomorrow’s Peace…

Adjust, Adapt, and Accept – Inch by Inch is a Cinch

{photo by tomo908us}

Today I want to talk about something that has become my motto and reminder – “Inch by Inch is a Cinch.” I find that whatever I may tackle in life, the small or big things, I have to take it one step at a time. LIFE is something we have to work at every single day that we can wake up and live! We set short term and long term goals, but either way small steps must be taken to achieve big steps.

Try approaching it by day by day and even at moments, minute by minute. You can read all the books but that won’t create an organized life. What does? It is being able to learn how to adjust, adapt, accept day by day, minute by minute. Life requires you to adjust your thinking, habits and environment. Organization must be adapted to suit your personality, lifestyle and inspirations. Creating Peace within yourself requires you to start accepting your life the way it is this very minute. If you are waiting for someone or something to dictate what to do in your life it will eventually lead you to frustration and you will find yourself even deeper in clutter and disorganization not only in your home or office, but your actions and thoughts.

Invest more time in exploring where your internal clutter really is, why it arrives and at what time it arrives. Are you frustrated because every time a new diet is started or a new time management plan arrives, you always fall off the wagon?

Remind yourself first that achieving something takes work, time, and patience – Inch by Inch is a Cinch – start small and work your way up.

Then bring to your mind to the place where you recognize and accept that your life is perfect in its imperfections.

There you will find your answers and with those answers you can begin to create new systems that work for you and only you.

Designing Peace – Simplicity

I think many look at organization and the feeling of gloom and dread drops into their stomachs. Looking at clutter can cause a major headache – I know that like the back of my hand! But what I have learned is that I have grown not only as an organizer but also from the beginning, when I had to organize my own life. Although organizing something is definitely easier said than done, it is also not as scary as we think it is. It’s time to clean out those ‘monsters’ from the closet and the bed. . .

This time, I want to talk about the concept of simplifying. No matter what kind of business or home I step into, simplifying is at the core of everything that I do. Take the PDR approach as an example. Purge. Donate. Repurpose.. right? The end result of PDR is that my client will have a simplified home and ultimately and simplified life. This doesn’t mean that all their troubles will go away or that life will stop throwing anyone curveballs, but that they now have the right tools and techniques that I have left them with to tackle life.

So don’t be afraid of clutter! Do not fear crazy closets or buried offices—we can do it together.

Closets are often the place we like to stuff things in. Closets are usually clutter central and we usually accept that it’s OK for it to be cluttered.

Closets can be our right-hand tool in the house – always there for you to store the extra stuff that you will need later but it is important to remember that even our closet needs to be simplified! Once that is simplified, the rest of the storage units in the house can be simplified as long as you know where everything goes.

Simplicity is one of the main components of not only my PDR approach but in how I help clients with whatever they may need. Let me support you in your organization endeavors (whether they be physical organization or life organization) today!

With that being said. . . Is the New Year overwhelming you with its endless possibilities and potential for a fresh start. . . a new creation. . . or even a little hint of impossibility?

 So I ask you…

What if your planner could be your own space to plant peace, order, and simplicity? What if it’s not just simply a place you write your appointments down, but a place where you can set short-term, long-term, and in between-term goals and aspirations?

Peaceful Gifts – Creating Simplicity

As I work with and get to know different clients, we always exchange useful bits of advice and wisdom–the best part of my job! The question I get asked the most after I have shared some of my life experience and tidbits of advice is “How can I get access to this information?” or “Is there a place where I can save these tidbits?”

That is why I created my new “Peaceful Gifts” page (located underneath my “Store” tab). This page is all about the free resources that I can offer you to create space and simplicity for planting peace amidst the craziness in your life! These resources can be checklists, remedies, or just some peaceful tools of self-affirmation and self-reflection–which is why I want to share them with you so Enjoy!

One of my newest additions to the page is the “Creating Simplicity” Checklist. Sometimes we sit down and try to plan our year; what results is a great big sigh of “oh boy!” There seems to be so many things to plan and not enough energy, time, or Peace to plan them! We try to plan one thing and then get caught off guard by another and before you know it you feel neck-deep in to-do’s and errands.  My “Creating Simplicity” Checklist most if not all of the big and small things that you need to take care of for the year–plus some tips on how to indulge and relax yourself. Create some Simplicity in your life and let me know how it goes! Check it out here or click on the picture below to download it!

Give theses Peaceful Gifts a good read and download–let me know how they simplify your busy schedule each day, month, and year! Still feeling overwhelmed after seeing these resources? Don’t worry-I can walk you through each step.

Planning Your Peace 5

I wanted to discuss the different elements in my Peace Planner. I created the planner to help me in creating peace on a daily basis within my life. These days your life may be full and at times may be very chaotic and stressful, sometimes when you are planning your day, week, or month it feels like everything is important.  It can become difficult finding the priorities in your day. But remember it’s essential to deal with your life as it is now and not by the way you wish it would be. It is my hope that the Peace Planner helps create more clarity in your life.

Today I want to discuss  the  Life Inspired Page– click  here  to listen.
